Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Bark. By creating an account you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

1. Who you are contracting with
Bark is operated by Blue Paw Labs, a sole proprietorship (Einzelunternehmen) under Swiss law:
Blue Paw Labs
Rheinstrasse 3
8500 Frauenfeld
Thurgau, Switzerland
2. The service
Bark is a brand and content publishing platform. It lets you organise digital assets, collaborate on content, schedule and publish posts to social media accounts you connect, and read the engagement and comments those posts attract. Features vary by subscription tier.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old and provide accurate registration details.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for the security of your credentials. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
- Where you invite others into an organisation, you are responsible for the access you grant them.
4. Connected social media accounts
When you connect a social media account, you appoint Bark to act on your behalf on that account, limited to what the permissions you granted allow. You confirm that you own the account or are authorised to manage it, and that publishing through Bark does not breach your agreement with that platform.
Bark publishes only content you have created and scheduled, and reads only the data needed to render your posts, their engagement, and the comments and messages on them. You may disconnect an account at any time, which revokes Bark's access immediately. Platform APIs are outside our control: a platform may change, restrict, or withdraw access, and we are not liable for the consequences of it doing so.
5. Your content
You keep all rights in the content you upload or create. You grant us the limited licence needed to host, process, transform, and transmit it for the purpose of providing the service — for instance generating thumbnails, or sending a post to the platform you scheduled it for. That licence ends when you delete the content or close your account.
You are responsible for having the rights to everything you publish through Bark, including images, music, and any third-party trademarks.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use Bark to:
- publish unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or infringing content;
- send unsolicited bulk messages, or operate engagement or follower manipulation;
- breach the terms or developer policies of any connected platform;
- impersonate another person or organisation, or publish to accounts you are not authorised to manage;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, or to circumvent rate limits, quotas, or tier restrictions;
- resell or redistribute the service without written agreement.
Accounts that breach this clause may be suspended, and repeated or serious breaches may be terminated.
7. Subscriptions and payment
- Paid plans are billed in advance for the period you select.
- Fees are non-refundable except where Swiss law requires otherwise, or where we withdraw a feature you paid for.
- You may cancel at any time; the plan then runs to the end of the paid period and does not renew.
- Price changes are announced at least 30 days before they take effect and never apply to a period already paid for.
8. Availability
We aim to keep Bark available and to give notice before planned maintenance, but the service is provided without a guaranteed uptime commitment unless one is agreed separately in writing.
9. Third-party services
Bark depends on services operated by others — the social media platforms, the AI model providers, storage, and email delivery. Their terms govern their own conduct, and their availability is not something we control. The providers we rely on are listed in the Privacy Policy.
10. Termination
- You may close your account at any time from the application settings, or by writing to support@barkpublish.com.
- We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, that we are legally required to close, or that has been unpaid for more than 30 days.
- On termination, access ends and your data is deleted on the schedule set out in the data deletion instructions. Export anything you want to keep beforehand.
11. Warranties and liability
Bark is provided as it stands, without warranty that it will be uninterrupted or free of error. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury, for intentional wrongdoing, or for gross negligence — Swiss law does not permit that. Subject to the foregoing, our aggregate liability arising out of the service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost data where you could reasonably have kept a copy.
12. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. Material changes are announced at least 30 days beforehand by email or in the application. Continuing to use Bark after they take effect means you accept them; if you would rather not, you may close your account and receive a pro-rata refund for the unused paid period.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding its conflict of law rules and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of jurisdiction is Frauenfeld, Switzerland. Where you deal with us as a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory law in your country of residence.
